Suddenly stopped working!!! Rip-off!

My 3 year old loved this app while it was working. Paid the $5.99 for 45 more streaming episodes and then it stopped working. Thought it might be a temporary glitch and have waited a week for them to fix, but nothing. Did the whole uninstall/reinstall thing and nothing as well. If he downloads the episode, he can watch it once but then it doesnt store it like it should have and so he must wait to download a single episode each time — which, if you have a toddler youll understand — its not the happiest of times. If they cant fix this app they need to refund everyone or else they are just scam artists.

Update: There was an app update today on Sept 13, 2013 to "update and fix bugs" but it still does NOT stream....so essentially, nothing has been fixed. Operating on iPhone5 as well.
